This optically hypnotizing quilt is truly a conversation piece to drape over your sofa in the living room.Look at it once and you see stars, look at it again and you see circular balls made of antique material. What a vibrating illusion and it comes with an interesting story too!
The parts and pieces for this quilt were found in a bag in the bottom of a tub in an antique store and I lovingly took them home and put them all together.Luckily, I save material from that era and could augment for missing and damaged pieces.While hand piecing and hand quilting this 49 1/2'X 67" quilt I wondered what the original woman was like and what she would have thought of the final outcome.So, to own this quilt would be to own a piece of the past, lovingly brought to the present.Aone-of-a-kind item reborn.Price: $200
