TULIP TABLE TOPPER

This spring table cover was designed for beginners desiring ‘big’ paper-piecing sections as confidence builders to mastering the method. My original design shows four tulips and leaves converging to the middle where a candle, flower arrangement or ceramic Easter bunny might sit. Also taught is meander quilting and regular machine quilting. Workshop Length: 7 hours.

SPRING CONVERGENCE

Create a converged background using Ricky Timm’s method. In the foreground plant a garden of stain-stitched pansies. A row of paper piecing will offset the right edge while other borders are used to complete the frame. Alternative techniques for creating three dimensional flowers and suggestions for embellishments are also part of the presentation. Workshop Length: 8 hours.
