FOLDED BISCIUTS FALL PILLOWLearn how to tuck and fold two different sizes of squares to create a dimensional square set on point in each block of this pillow. Once the concept is understood, this pillow can be made in whatever colors of fabric to fit the season you wish. Finished pillow is 16” x 16”. Class Length: 3 hours.

TUSCAN NIGHTS TABLE RUNNER
A unique way to rotary cut two blocks at once and create positive/negative images. Once you understand this technique, the color combinations are endless. After the blocks form the table runner the quilting is done using stitch in the ditch. The finished runner is 20” x 35½”. Class Length: 3 hours.

MACHINE QUILTING
In this session I cover basic information about needles, threads, battings, basting, choosing appropriate quilt designs in one’s quilts; and then spend time practicing common types of machine quilting from stitch-in-the-ditch, echo quilting, meander and stipple quilting to create such special effects as stars, flowers, leaves, swirls and background designs. Class Length: 3 hours.

SWEET FREEDOM
This quick wall hanging features simple paper piecing, machine appliqué, regular and stipple quilting in the background and borders. It is an easy lesson for beginners or a relaxing class for the more experienced quilters. Class length: 3-4 hours.

PHOTO KEEPSAKE
Two concepts are introduced: First, successfully size and produce good results with photo transfers and second, display the transfer in four different stand-up fabric frames. Techniques include crazy quilting, machine embroidery and embellishing. Class Length: 3-4 hours.

TWINKLING TREE
This 10” x 15½” small wall hanging is a quick project for Christmas utilizing fusible appliqué, buttonhole machine stitching, rayon thread and decorative stitch to complete. Additionally, participants use regular and stipple quilting and the Lorna Tool to add crystal stars to finish. Class Length: 3-4 hours.

PHOTO TRANSFER MEMORY BLOCK
While completing their own memory blocks, participants will learn how to size – reduce or enlarge a photo, optimize color, account for seam allowances and choose the correct paper backed cotton to use. By class end the memory blocks will become either a wall hanging or pillow. Class Length: 3-4 hours.

STAR TABLE TOPPER
Techniques illustrated in this project include fusible appliqué, buttonhole machine appliqué, stipple and machine quilting. The 20½” x 20½” table topper is easy for a beginner and just plain fun for the experienced quilter. Class Length: 3-4 hours.

AUTUMN TABLE TOPPER
A quick class for either beginner or experienced quilter, this 21½” x 21½” table topper goes together fast. Fall leaves are appliquéd to a soft background using satin stitching. Stipple quilting is taught so the students can use this in the background around the leaves and in the borders. Finishing and binding directions are also taught. Class Length: 3-4 hours.
